Irene Watson

We regret to inform everyone of the passing of Irene Watson from this earth. As you may know, she was instrumental in launching the show. I would not ever have even started the show without her infectious enthusiasm for the project. We just uneventfully passed our 6th anniversary of recording the first show. For now, we will record one final show this year on Dec. 20th 2012 with Deltina Hay.

Irene Watson’s Memorial: A Celebration of Life

WHEN: Saturday November 17, 2012 at 1:00 pm

WHERE: Unity Church of the Hills,
9905 Anderson Mill Rd.
Austin TX 78750

A reception will follow the service. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Unity Church of the Hills.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Irene’s passing. I thought she was winning her fight. I send condolences to both her family and staff.
I never had the chance to meet Irene in person but she was a great inspiration and help as I struggled to get my indie press off the ground. This world’s loss is a gain for heaven.

RIP Irene, you will be missed!
